GXT 5G Gigabit Wi-Fi Extender
Delivering a whole-home Wi-Fi oasis for video and internet
Customer inspired and driven, the 802.11ac based GXT 5G canvasses any home with Gigabit Wi-Fi for connecting IP Set Top Boxes (STBs) and a rapidly growing list of consumer electronics gadgets including game consoles, tablets, PCs, smart phones, printers, streaming devices and connected TVs.
Customer driven design
With customer goals and objectives as the bulls-eye, Airsonics’ delivers the most robust and cost-effective 11ac upgrade available. Instead of requiring a complete Residential Gateway (RG) forklift merely to add 11ac, we offer a compact augmentation of existing field deployed RGs which are working fine. We also stuff an Access Point (AP), Client and Extender into a single platform complete with separate video and internet / data networks with QoS to up the ante.
Trouble-free installation
Having invested countless hours accompanying techs on installations, we created the GXT 5G with installers in mind. Airsonics hides all the complexities under the hood so the tech merely presses Wi-Fi standard WPS buttons to pair devices and confirms a link LED. Signal strength uncertainty is taken out of the picture by a color-coded Wi-Fi signal strength LED which guides the installer to the optimal GXT 5G placement location.
Remote Firmare Management
Maintaining Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), especially in sparsely populated areas, has been a service provider challenge going back to the tip and ring days. Using a divergent approach, Airsonics devised a practical solution to maintain firmware releases without an adjunct TR-069 Auto Configuration Server (ACS). In addition to remote firmware updates, the FlashVault™ utility populates custom configurations at no additional charge.
Matchless performance
Casting aside the legacy “home run” Wi-Fi approach with our disruptive BWaVE™ mesh solution, Wi-Fi coverage in the home finally realizes its zenith. Say farewell to dead zones, poor links and cranky subscribers while dramatically lowering your truck rolls and IPTV installation expense.
